Lausanne (Ouchy), Beau-Rivage Palace

The Beau-Rivage is a highly valued luxurious hotel to stay, relax and enjoy the views across the lake. It has a superb two Michelin star restaurant, a sushi restaurant, a brasserie and an extensive spa and wellness area. You can walk to the Olympic Museum in minutes, and the city center is only a few minutes away by the metro. If you can splurge and prefer a lake side hotel, this is the place to be!

Lausanne (Ouchy), Château d'Ouchy

This hotel had to be included in our recommendations because of its unique appearance: this castle dates back to the 12th century and overlooks Lake Geneva. A wonderful location, just 5 minutes on foot from the Olympic Museum. It's easy to reach by public transport, as it is located right next to the metro station. The castle has an in-house restaurant and lounge bar.

Lausanne, Hotel de la Paix

We selected this excellent hotel because of its central location, good guest reviews and high comfort level (restaurant, bar, terrace, comfortable rooms and suites). It takes 60 seconds to walk over to the luxurious shopping street Rue De Bourg. The train station can be reached quickly as well. The hotel has various rooms that offer a view on the small park across the street (Promenade Derrière-Bourg) and Lake Geneva.

Lausanne, Hôtel Des Voyageurs

Narrow uphill streets are typical for the town center of Lausanne. This highly valued hotel is situated in one of those streets, the Rue Grand Saint-Jean, and is surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and sights like the Palais de Rumine. The hotel was completely renovated in 2015. We recommend it if you prefer a lively location with everything you need at walking distance.
