Are seat reservations needed for Golden Pass?

    Hello,

    Can someone please advise if seat reservations are needed for traveling from Montreux to Interlaken Ost in the Panaromic trains? I have a commune day pass and intend to take the panaromic train and the excellent page on Golden Pass here says I can utilise the day pass without additional payments. However, I am confused if I should be taking a seat reservation.
