Short distance on Glacier Express from Luzern

Hi,

If one is staying at Lucerne for 3 days, and having half day spare , is it possible to cover a short journey on the Glacier Express ? Actually I dont want to miss riding the GE.

Pl advise if this is possible from Lucerne and how much time will it need.

Hello sanjeev,

That will be difficult if you only have half a day. A full day trip would be possible: please see the suggestions under “Don’t have time to do the full route?” at myswissalps.com/glacie rexpress. Note that the scenic Gotthard Panorama Express and Golden Pass are much closer to Lucerne, so sections of these routes can be done in half a day:
