    Dear all

My travel date is from October 13 to October 21st. It’s 8 night Plan. 3 nights at Lucerne, 4 nights at Interlaken/Wengen and 1 night at Zurich.

can you pl suggest, out of Interlaken and wengen which will better place to have base keeping in view of the climate conditions and accessibility to basic necessities.

The weather will be approximately the same at both places, though a bit cooler in Wengen. At such places, besic necessities are equally available and accessible unless you need an ambulance, because there is no road to Wengen (rail only) so if you need an ambulance there it will be a helicopter. I sugest you use other criteria to decide.

    Hi Ravi,

Wengen is often considered the prettier town and has a lovely setting in the mountains – I’d stay there. 🙂

Hi RaviLakh! I think you can’t go wrong with either town. Interlaken is larger and offers more facilities. Its a fine base for exploring several regions, which might be convenient if you want to see more than just the Jungfrau region. Wengen indeed is prettier and has lovely views, but it takes more traveling tme to leave the Jungfrau region and head for other directions. You can compare both through the links below:
