    Hi Wise Ones

I’m looking at doing a 3 weeks Switzerland trip with my dog next end of May/early June (this can be pushed back to mid June if you guys think its safer weather wise). We’re coming from Singapore and are so excited to hike/bike the stunning trails! I spent most of yesterday looking and I’m overwhelmed at the beauty and possibilities! Every region/destination i find gets added to the list lol! We will be flying into Zurich and need to see a vet for health checks at both the start and end of our trip so we need to start and end there.

I’m thinking i could do a few day trips from Zurich in the first few days; Rhein Falls etc.

I don’t want to be moving everyday or spend hours traveling everyday (the odd long trip is ok) as I think that would be unfair on my dog; so a little base for a few days in each location would be ideal.

So far this is kinda what I’m looking at (these can be done in any order and feel free to tell me if i’m crazy or if there is a better option/region/specific place to visit etc). Are the hiking trails easily accessible with public transport (with dog in tow)?

    Zurich to Lucerne

Lucerne to Interlaken (would prefer to stay in a small town close by)

    Interlaken to Zermatt

    Zermatt to Tincio Region

    Tincio to Apenzall

    Apenzal to Zurich

I’m happy to do train or car options and would love to hear opinions on both please. I’m thinking a car from Visp to Tincio/Apenzal/Zurich.

Many thanks and looking forward to your ideas
