About MySwissAlps.com - spam

We fight spam

We do not send unsolicited emails. You can select whether you want to receive messages such as our trip planning tips or forum update messages. You can unsubscribe at any time.

If you only have a user account and no email subscription, we normally do not email you. However, occasionally we may have to send messages regarding system maintenance to all users. You can delete your account at any time.

Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about our emails.

Please do not mark our emails as spam. Marking legitimate emails as spam can prevent email delivery to yourself and other users. We may unsubscribe you if you do so.

As explained in the forum rules, spam messages posted to the forum will be removed quickly. We monitor all accounts and posts.

What if you want to receive our messages but don’t get them?

Not receiving a sent email message is rare, but it does occur. It may happen to emails sent to us, as well as to emails sent by us.

Please be assured that we answer all received emails (as long as they’re not spam). If you don’t receive an answer, the problem is usually caused by spam filters that are configured so strictly that they catch legitimate messages too. As a result, the message may never reach the recipient, or it may be moved to a junk mail folder. Your email program may have spam filters, as well as your email provider.

This is what you can do if you expect a message from us but can’t find it:

  • Add our domain “myswissalps.com” to the list of safe senders (the “white list”) which is available in most spam filters. This may prevent similar problems in the future.
  • Check the junk mail folder of your email program and your online inbox.
  • Ask your email provider for help.
  • Contact us through another method.

Page author: ArnoI have visited Switzerland countless times since 1997. I've explored most of the country, but find myself staying in the Bernese Oberland and Graubünden most frequently. The alps and the rail network remain very impressive, even after all these years.
