Must-knows about vacation rentals in the Lake Lucerne region

  • Lucerne doesn’t have a lot of holiday apartments. There are some in the old town, and in the modern district near the rail station called “Luzern, Allmend/Messe”.
  • Alternatives within easy reach of the Lucerne town center are Kriens, Meggen, Horw, Hergiswil, and Stans.
  • Küssnacht, Weggis, and Vitznau are perfect base towns to explore the northern part of the lake.
