    Hi Trac,

If you’re in Basel for only a short time, I recommend this self-guided city walk: https://www.myswissalps.com/activity/walk-basel/

You can also look through our Basel guide for other activities and sightseeing suggestions: https://www.myswissalps.com/town/basel/. Basel is one of the larger cities in Switzerland and most of the city’s attractions are accessible year round.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Anna

Basel has world-class museums. I recommend the Kunstmuseum (main museum). It does include several buildings if you choose to see more.  Your walking tour might give you ideas to explore more on your own – the city is very walkable.

    Hi Trac,

I agree with the helpful replies.  If you are staying overnight in Basel, it’s likely you should receive the Basel Card which will allow you free transportation in Basel city and discounts for many activities.  More information in the section “Other websites of interest” in the link that Anna provided in her reply.

    Have fun!

    Kind regards,

    Yolanda
