    Hi Miss Sharon

There are direct international trains from Milano Centrale to Lugano throughout the day, hourly or so, and they take from 75 to 90 minutes usually. The train from Milano Centrale to Tirano, Italy (for the Bernina line) is an entirely separate line to a different region. It’s a regional train, approximately every 2 hours, and the journey takes 2 hours.

    Hope that helps

    John
