My printer died and due to issues I won’t go into here, I cannot get a new printer connected to my computer for a few weeks. So I am planning to buy the Swiss Travel Pass for the three of us traveling together when arrive in Switzerland. I don’t need it for first day of arrival. We are heading to Davos. Can I buy the pass at a davos train station? If not, I’ll get it on route to Davos while at the airport or at the Zurich HB train station. I know that the train station will give us physical copies. Will they also send it as an email so that we will have it on our phones.

    Hi Gramcookie,

You can buy the Swiss Travel Pass in Davos during the opening hours of the staffed desk. However, you will only get a paper pass and not via e-mail. If you lose or damage it, there won’t be a replacement. Also, you should bring all your passports to the station to be able to buy them there.

Instead, I recommend buying online from the tourist webshop of the SBB: http://www.swissrailways.com. They’ll send the passes by e-mail within a few minutes, and you can each keep a copy on your phone. Printing is optional and not needed. You can make as many digital copies as you want.
