Free reservations to Jungfraujoch & more discounts

Short summary – read this first

A traveler started a thread about a promotion from the Switzerland Travel Centre that offers free seat reservations for Jungfraujoch and a Swiss Coupon Pass with the purchase of a Swiss Travel Pass. They were looking for specific advice on how to correctly purchase the tickets and passes together, and the details of the promotion.

Key takeaways:
  • To benefit from the promotion, buy the Swiss Travel Pass and Jungfraujoch ticket simultaneously for a single date.
  • Reservations for Jungfraujoch aren’t required but are recommended during peak times to ensure a spot.
  • The Swiss Travel Pass offers discounts for mountain trips, but you still need to buy tickets for certain excursions like Jungfraujoch.

    Hi Arno,

Thanks for the reply. I waited till the last day to buy the STP from STC. Unfortunately it is available only from 10th March onwards. Is there a way I can buy it from 8th March onwards? I arrive in Zurich on 6th March 7PM.

    Hi Vigneshlabam,

the problem is that the ticket for the Jungfraujoch excursion is a paper ticket and it is now too late to buy it. This is the reason why you can buy your Jungfraujoch tickets just from 10 March.

    Hello Lucas,

The other day Rockoyster was explaining how one becomes an “expert” instead of a “top member”. Seems to me that with your number of posts, and their content, you should be classified as an “expert”.
