Thank you for the great info posting on your website! When I went on the link to reserve the seats on the prestige class, It asked me do I have first class pass(I have second class pass), I said no and it also asked me if I have seat reservation, I said no since I was booking a seat reservation. After all that, it gave me 3 seats on the prestige class for the total of CHF 149 and asked me to choose my discount then the traveler info. My question to you is that do I need an upgrade ticket to the first class since I only have the second class Swiss Travel Pass? Does the system assume that I have first class STP? Sorry for the lengthy email, I just want to have the right document when the train crew comes to check.

Hi Theresa,
No problem.
Essentially, if you are travelling on a 2nd class rail pass, you will need to upgrade to first for the section that you are in Prestige Class.
Seat reservations and the journey ticket or rail pass are independent of each other. As long as you have both when you board, you are all set.
In your case, you have your Prestige Class seat reservations. All you need to do now, is upgrade for the section you will be traveling.

Thanks everyone for your help! I finally booked the prestige class seats and paid in full, but I did not get a confirmation email. It’s been almost a whole day. Do they not send out confirmation email or should I need to follow up with them? I checked my junk mail box too.

Yes, a confirmation email should have been received to the email address you inserted when purchasing.
I’d follow up with them.
