    Hello,

We would like to buy the 3 days Jungfrau VIP pass which entitles us to go up to the Jungfraujoch with a 50% discount. My question is: how can I do a seat reservation for this train up to the peak? I’m going with my family, this will be a gift for them and I want to be sure we will have a nice seat and they can fully enjoy the view.

    Thanks

    Edit

    Hi Edit,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! Actually, the Jungfrau VIP Pass includes one free journey to the Jungfraujoch. All the details are available on myswissalps.com/ jungfrauvippass. A seat reservation can be purchased online, but you should only do so once you’re sure about good weather. A trip up there is useless if it rains or if there are low clouds. Hopefully you’ll have a sunny day!

    Hi immipathan,

Buying a second pass is usually not worth the money. Whether you’re an exception to that rule depends on your exact plans. It could be worth it if you travel a lot within 3 consecutive days. You should list all trips you intend to make, and then compare prices as explained here. You are a Swiss Travel Pass holder, so you do get a 25% discount on the Jungfrau VIP Pass. I hope this helps you to decide. Have a good time in the Jungfrau region!
