No worries. I’ve stayed in Wilderswil many times and I can confirm Yolanda’s info. The walk from Hotel Bären to “Wilderswil, Lehngasse” is flat, the one to “Wilderswil, Kirchgasse” is a gradually descending one. You’ll probably hardly notice it. You may notice the slight ascent when walking the other way: from the Wilderswil rail station or the bus stop “Wilderswil, Kirchgasse” back to your hotel. But it’s far from steep.
The actual slope begins shortly after the hotel, where the Oberdorfstrasse goes up.
