    Hello,

There is suggestion to buy ticket in advance to Jungfraujoch but also make sure to have nice weather. Would you please share the typical weather up there in early June.

We have STP, and we want to go up and go down different ways. Would you please suggest where I start buying the Jungfraujoch ticket from on the way up and to on the way down.

    Thank you so much,

    Thy

    Hi Thy,

I recommend getting the tickets to Jungfraujoch once you are sure the weather is clear enough to enjoy the views at the top. June is typically the start of summer so the weather might be mildly warm. You can check the weather forecast before your trip. A five-day forecast is usually reliable if you want to get your ticket in advance. Options to purchase the ticket in advance are available here: http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfraujoch/tickets

    Hi Anna,

For seat reservation to Jungfraujoch for 10 CHF, does it cover both ways (going up and going down)? Or 10 CHF per way? And does it specify what train /cog wheel / cable car I will have seat reservation?

When I purchase ticket 159.80 CHF with STP, does it cover both ways (up and down)? And can I decide what way I want to go up and down on the departure day? Or I need to decide right at the booking?

For summer month, is 4 hours in Jungfraujoch enough time? I am not sure how crowded up there in the summer.

    Thanks Anna,

    Thy

    Hi Thy,

Yes, it’s a return ticket and you can choose to return via the same route or a different route back (the price is the same). In general, seat reservation is recommended on the way up during peak visiting period (this is for the section between Eigergletscher to Jungfraujoch). This costs CHF10 per person. Seat reservation for the descent is usually not necessary. Most visitors spend 1 -2 hours at the top. Of course you can stay longer if you wish.

Let us know if you need further info.

    Regards,

    Anna
