It takes about 10 mins to walk from the train station to the boat landing stage (see screenshot). So you might have just enough time to catch the 12.45 boat to Chillon Castle. From the castle, you can take a bus back to Montreux. Alternatively you can take the 16.18 boat back to Montreux.
