Hello- Trying to figure out how to get from Paris to chur and then take the Bernini express to Torino. It is very confusing to figure out what pass I should buy? Should I buy separate train tickets since I have specific dates? Thanks so much ahead of time. Not experienced with trains and best itinerary

    Hi Dorjohn5,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

I personally prefer taking the train. A fast option is to take the TGV train from Paris to Zurich via Basel. In Zurich, you then take a regular train to Chur. There are regular services between Zurich and Chur. You can use the SBB timetable to check train schedules: http://www.myswissalps.com/timetable

Based on your plans, getting a Saver Day Pass might be sensible if you plan to continue your trip on the Bernina Express on the same day. If you have a Saver Day Pass (http://www.myswissalps.com/saverdaypass), then all you need is just a ticket from Paris to Basel (http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/france). If you are travelling in Switzerland for multiple days, I suggest looking at one of the railpasses: http://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses

Be sure to book your Bernina Express seat in advance: http://www.myswissalps.com/berninaexpress/tickets

Let us know if you need more info.

    regards,

    Anna
