    Hello,

my husband and I are planning a trip to the Swiss Alps during the last week of April 2024.

We would love your assistance with finding some pregnancy-friendly activities that would be open during those dates (I e-mailed the Jongfreu to ask which cable cars I would be able to ride).

From my research, most of the activities would be open during that time.

In any case, thank you for your time and assistance 🙂

    Hi Miss Goldstof,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

Lovely to hear you will be visiting Switzerland soon.

I’m unsure which trimester you will be when you are here but if you are planning any mountain excursions (https://www.myswissalps.com/activities/trips/mountains/) it might be a good idea to chat with your obstetrician regarding the effects of altitude for yourself and the baby.

Other than that, I’d say, it’s very personal in regards to energy levels you may or may not have.  You probably won’t want to rush around too much, perhaps have one or two bases so you can explore the region at a nice pace.  Maybe one of the scenic train rides or a boat cruise on one of the many beautiful lakes would be enjoyable.

Take a look here for a few ideas:  https://www.myswissalps.com/activities/trips/

If you enjoy hiking, perhaps one of the easy to moderate hikes would suit:  https://www.myswissalps.com/activities/hiking/

I hope this gives you a few ideas.  Maybe take a read of the links and if you have any questions, do reach out.

    Kind regards,

    Yolanda
