Hello, thank you for answering several questions over the past month. Almost ready to go.
We are staying in Zermatt for three days then taking a morning ( 11 September)train to Domodossola where we spend the night. I can easily book those tickets on SBB. The next day from Domodossola to Lugano it is possible to book on SBB but I see no way to add a seat reservation. The panorama plus on this route is very popular so i looked at the Centavalli train website and I can book that with a reservation to Locarno. Locarno to Lugano is then easy and inexpensive  on SBB.
Do you see any issues with that or other options? BTW, well be buying our BOP  from MSA shortly for early September travel in the BO. We already have the 1/2 fare pass.
    Thanks,
    Gary

    Hi garyprc,

Since you are travelling from Domodossola to Lugano, I would book the seats (Domodossola to Locarno on the Centovalli railway) and purchase the tickets (Domodossola to Lugano) separately.

You can find info on how to book the seats on the Centovalli Railway here: https://www.myswissalps.com/activity/centovalli-railway/

Let me know if you need more info.

    Regards,
    Anna
