Stäublifall in Sept: water level, how to get there
A traveler named Vamshi is planning a trip to Stäubern Waterfall in Canton Uri during the first week of September. They want to know if the water level will be sufficient for a good experience and are seeking advice on the best public transport route from Zurich, as well as information on how to reach Klausen Pass.
- To get to Stäubern Waterfall, take a train from Zurich to Altdorf, then catch a bus to Unterschächen, Ribi, and use the cable car or follow a trail for great views.
- Check local webcams or contact the tourism office to confirm water levels at Stäubern Waterfall before your visit.
- For Klausen Pass, take the train to Altdorf followed by bus 408 to Klausen Passhöhe.
- Use the SBB timetable to check train and bus schedules for September.

Hi,
I am visiting Stäuber Waterfall in Canton Uri in first week of September. I am planning to visit the waterfall from Zurich. I would like to know if water level in the Stäuber Waterfall is powerful enough to enjoy the scenery in first week of September. Is it worth to visit in first week of September or I am visiting Switzerland late that I might miss the fun.
Also, I will be travelling Switzerland with Swiss Travel Pass/Public transport. Internet is not really helpful in providing a best and easy way to reach Stäuber Waterfall from Zurich. Could someone provide me with best and easy way to reach by public transport to Stäuber Waterfall from Zurich. And also, frequency of public transport in September month.
Could someone also provide way to reach Klausen Pass in Canton Uri.
Thank you.
