Strictness of reservation times of Switzerland cable cars

    We plan on making seat reservations at various location, including Mt Pilatus, Jungfraujoch and others. I understand that going up you must be there or wait until available car. What about coming down, as they ask for a time? Same rule apply?

    Dear MagicI,

    If you have seat reservation, you get priority boarding. So if for instance, you don’t have seat reservation for the return journey, you will have to wait for your turn and someone who has seat reservation will be given priority first when it’s busy.
