Hi everyone,

Swiss Travel Pass holders get a CHF 60 discount on same-day delivery luggage services within Switzerland and Liechtenstein. That makes your train trips even more convenient!

This is what you must know

• The discount applies for travel from 1 October through 15 December 2026.
• The promotion is valid for the “Express door-to-door luggage” service, and the luggage service from the airport (see below).
• Collection of your luggage is in the morning, and delivery is the same day.
• Online booking can be done until 12:00 (noon) the day before.

You also qualify for this discount if you have booked a travel package containing Swiss Travel Passes via the MySwissAlps Plan + Package or MySwissAlps Package service!

This is how it works

1. Buy your Swiss Travel Pass. Go to the official SBB tourist webshop here: https://www.myswissalps.com/link/stc-home/
2. Find your pass in your email inbox within 5 minutes.
3. Find the reference number on the Swiss Travel Pass. It’s at the bottom of the pass, and your pass may also have an additional promotion text starting with “Get your luggage discount” that also includes the reference number.
4. Go to https://www.activateyourpass.com/luggage, enter the reference number, and click the button. You will get a personal promo code.
5. Go to https://www.sbb.ch/en/luggage-shop. Ignore anything related to the “SwissPass”, that’s a different pass than the Swiss Travel Pass.
6. Enter the locations where your luggage must be collected and delivered, and the date. The locations must be selected from the dropdown list, and can either be a hotel name like “3792 Saanen, HUUS Gstaad Hotel” or a zipcode and town combination like “8001, Zurich”. Not all hotels are listed. If it’s not, select the zip code and town.
7. On the next page, select the items to be shipped.
8. On the next page, select the service “Express door-to-door luggage”. If you don’t see this service, then that’s because it’s not available between your collection and delivery location. You can still ship your luggage using a different service, but without a discount.
9. On the next page, enter the exact addresses and the other information asked for.
10. You can now add the service to your shopping cart. Enter your promo code under “Redeem code” to get the discount.

Luggage from Zurich Airport to your hotel

There’s also a luggage transport service with same-day delivery from Zurich Airport to Andermatt, Interlaken, Lucerne, St. Moritz, and Zurich. This service cannot be purchased online, and can only be booked at the SBB Travel Centre at the airport. You’ll get a discount upon showing your Swiss Travel Pass. Swiss Travel Pass Flex

I am not sure if this promotion also applies to the Swiss Travel Pass Flex. With the Swiss Travel Pass Flex, you must generate a day pass for each travel day. The day pass holds a reference number too.

You’d normally generate a day pass the day before travel or the same morning. It can be done sooner, though, and keep in mind the time you must order your luggage service (see above).
