Thanks for your kind words, Maria! I’m happy you are finding the document helpful. A long term labor of love for the region.

September is a great pick. In our 28 trips we have found September to be ideal. Most of the summer crowds have gone home and the weather, while always unpredictable, is usually the best of the year. Beautiful temperatures often punctuated with “Happy Hour Thunderstorms”. That’s what we call the frequent late afternoon dramatic and brief showers. They usually roll in around 5pm or so. Perfect for sitting on your deck or veranda with a cocktail in hand and watching the show.

Kim and her document have saved me, and many of us it seems, from countless hours of research. She is a jewel!

I am so happy you are finding it helpful!

September is really a lovely time to visit the region, it is our favorite. Summer crowds have gone home and the weather is usually the most spectacular of the year

    Safe travels,

    Hi Kim,

First of all, thanks a ton for the wonderful document. It helped a lot in our planning.

I have a quick question for you. We are a non-hiking travelling group planning to make a loop around the Jungfrau region in a day using all the cable cars and trains. Can you please tell me if we needed to take rest for an hour or so at a shaded area, what are some good options there to do so?

    Thanks

    Kim:

I just finished reading your information on Wengen! Wow, well done. There was so much information that I will use on my trip to the area next June. Thanks for the outstanding work.
