    Hi tropicool123,

As far as I can tell, the “Tissot” is no more than advertising for the Tissot watchmaking company. I believe it’ very similar to the stadium naming rights here in the USA. I tried to visit both on my trip.

At Glacier 3000, the last cable car went right over my head when I got off the bus. And I never got to Grindelwald First because Grindelwald was fog/cloud covered my whole time in the region. I did intend to see both though, and I do recommend that if time allows for you.

    Regards,

    Dwnielsan

P.S. I’m sorry the pic I tried to attach didn’t come through on my last post. But as I mentioned, it is on that website. It did help me plan my whole trip.

They are both high altitude walking routes . I’m not sure why simple walking paths need to have conglomerate industrial names attached, so let’s not use those names anymore and help them advertise further… Both have mountain views. All mountain views are different in some way so you cannot say one is ‘better than the other’

    Hi tropicool123,

The Peak Walk by Tissot on Glacier 3000 is basically a suspension bridge connecting two mountain peaks. It’s about 100m in length, 80cm in width at an altitude of 3000m and offers a thrilling view of the glacier of Les Diablerets. Glacier 3000 is located near Gstaad, which is easily accessible from Montreux and the Golden Pass train. You can find more information about Glacier 3000 here: http://www.myswissalps.com/glacier3000

Grindelwald First Cliff Walk is a metal walkway built around a mountain cliff. It’s about 400 m long and offers a unique panorama view of the surroundings. It’s easily accessible from the top station of the Grindelwald First cable car. Grindelwald First is located in Grindelwald in the Jungfrau region. You can find more info here: http://www.myswissalps.com/grindelwaldfirst

Both attractions are accessible free of charge to visitors of Glacier 3000 and Grindelwald First.

    Regards,

    Anna

    Hi tropicool123,

In Switzerland, there are some free-hanging bridges over gorges or between mountains, as at Glacier 3000. I prefer the cliff walks like the Grindelwald First Cliff walk, as I suffer a bit from vertigo 🙂 In Grindelwald, the view of the 4000-metre mountains of the Bernese Oberland is absolutely unique!
