We will be purchasing a Swiss Half fare card online before we arrive in Switzerland. Our first destination will be getting from the Zurich airport to the Zurich HB, then on to Konstanz, Germany to bike around Lake Constance. It appears Konstanz is only a 3 min train ride from the Swiss border town of Kreuzlingen. I see on the SBB time schedule there are many trains from the Zurich HB to Konstanz and they are listed as 16.50 SCH half fare. Will that work? Or should we buy a ticket to Kueuzlingen, get out, and buy another ticket to Konstanz?

Konstanz is covered by the Swiss Half Fare Card. There is actually an SBB station at Konstanz adjacent to the DB Station. Just get a ticket Zurich Fluhafen to Konstanz.

Indeed no issues there. There are also direct trains so you don’t need to change at Zurich HB (though with some departure times you do need to change there).

That is awesome to see a train goes directly from the airport to Konstanz without having to get on a different train at the Zurich HB. I just checked the SBB timetable and see it is quicker and even cheaper. Win Win!! Thank you both, rockoyster and Lucas!
