Virtual tours of Switzerland
Even though you can’t travel to Switzerland yet, you can enjoy tours and tourism related online classes, either for free or paid. The below operators offer virtual tours. Switzerland isn’t included in their options yet, but this may change:
- Viator’s 'Roam from home' programme offers virtual tours and classes: www.viator.com;
- GetYourGuide’s The world at home' lists online experiences: www.getyourguide.com;
- Expedia provides tips for ‘Things to do from home’: www.expedia.com. Their tip for a virtual tour in Geneva's CERN is interesting: artsandculture.google.com;
- Google offers some virtual museum tours, such as this one through the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne: maps.google.com.

Enjoying live images of your favorite Swiss spots is the next best thing if you can't be there. We recommend SwissWebcams, as they’ve collected lots of webcam images from locations all over the country: www.swisswebcams.ch. These virtual Switzerland panoramas are beautiful too: www.360x360switzerland.com. More roundshot cams are available at www.roundshot.com and webcams.windy.com.
Apart from that, you can explore regional webcam collections, such as this one for the Jungfrau region: www.jungfrau.ch.
