    The best rail pass will depend on your exact itinerary. You’ll need to plan out each day and note down all train, bus cable car trips etc. and compare tickets vs. prices.     Usually multi-country passes work out best only if you plan to do a fair but of train trips in all countries during your trip. If it is only 1 or 2 trips in other countries but a lot in Switzerland, I’d look at a Swiss Travel Pass only.
