    Hi Sara,

    Some suggestions:

    • Cross your fingers that forecast is wrong.
    • Take a lake cruise (http://www.zsg.ch/en/).
    • Find a good bar/restaurant and settle in.
    • Take a day trip to the Rheinfalls (with wet weather gear).
    • Catch a train to Kreuzlingen and take a boat cruise up the Rhine to Schaffhausen (you could also carry on to Rheinfalls by train and then back to Zurich).

    Hi Sara,

If you are wanting to stay in Zurich and be inside somewhere there are a few options depending on your interests. Are you on your own? Any kids?

If you will have a bathing suit I highly recommend the Zurich Thermal Bath (http://www.thermalbad-zuerich.ch/?chglang=en). Easy to spend a day there!

There are boat cruises that could be ok in the rain as well. The Zurich Zoo (https://www.zoo.ch/en) is quite awesome and a fair bit of it is enclosed.

The area around Hardbrücke train station (1 train stop from the main station or about 10-12 minutes on bus or tram from downtown) has several shopping and dining options, such as: Im Viadukt (https://www.im-viadukt.ch/en/home/?lang=set) and the Schiffbau (http://www.schauspielh aus.ch/en/haus-service/service-spielstatten/schiffbau).

Also near by is a the Prime Tower, Zurich’s, and maybe Switzerland’s, highest building (with restaurant and bar on the top floor) as well as a large movie theater across from Schiffbau.
