1st class reservation with 2nd class Travel Pass

    Hi,

    Please let me know if it is possible to make a reservation in a 1st class carriage on a panoramic train, e.g. Bernina Express, with a 2nd class Swiss Travel Pass.

    Hi Profrob,

    Yes, you can make a 1st class reservation on the Bernina Express (or other panoramic trains) – you just will need to upgrade your ticket to 1st class before boarding the train.

    You can do this at any manned rail office (SBB) when in Switzerland. This thread also has a step by step guide to doing it with the SBB mobile app.
