    Hi

We are on a family holiday (7 persons) in switzerland from 19-22 June 2018. (Reaching 18 June night to Lucerne and departing from Zurich on 23rd June morning). We would be staying in an AirBnB apartments 20 kms from Lucerne. We have already lined up for reaching Zurich on 22 nd morning and take the city tour on 22 June. I am looking at suggested itineraries for day trips to nearby tourist spots from Lucerne during our stay from 19-22 June. Can somebody guide us as to which places should we visit and if possible a suggested short itinerary .

We wish to go to Jungfrouch and take a train ride in one of the scenic trains (Glacier / Bernina express) for a short distance to save on time.

Since we are travelling on our own and through any travel or tour company group, we are flexible. Also can somebody suggest if travel by train would be better or book a day tours or Van with driver

Hi SG, and welcome to MySwissAlps,

We don’t create itineraries here, but we do have information on our website that will help you. Please have a look at our Lucerne activities page where we recommend things to do: http://www.myswissalps.com/lu cerne/activities.

You can do a part of the Glacier Express route from Lucerne. It is however a full day on the train. More information can be found here: http://www.myswissalps.com/gl acierexpress. Alternatively you can take the Golden Pass from Lucerne to Interlaken.
