    Dear Forum Admins,

I found this forum nearly in every google search for my Swiss travel plan question and also noticed explanatory response from admins of this forum to people for their Swiss trips. This motivated me to create my account as well on this forum. Please help me with below:

I am planning a 4 days trip to Switzerland with my family. We are planning per below, please help me to understand how best this can be achieved using Swiss Pass and I am planning to buy only 3 days pass instead of 4.

1st day – Reaching Zurich Airport from London and starting same day to Lucerne and spending night in Lucerne.

2nd day – Exploring Lucerne and starting in evening to Grindelwald, stay there.

3rd day – Exploring Grindelwald, Interaken and Jungfrau and spending night there.

4th day – Starting to Geneva and catch return flight to London from Geneva Airport.

Kindly help me in planning above trip with Swiss Travel Pass and feel free to suggest/amend itinerary as it would suit best because I am still in planning phase so can plan it accordingly.

Looking forward to response for above and many thanks in advance.

    Best Regards – Shailesh.

Hello Shailesh and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

If you only have a 3 day pass then you will need a point-to-point ticket from Zurich Airport to Lucerne. It is just 1 hour.

    For Lucerne see http://www.myswissalps.com/lu cerne/activities.

For Jungfrau Region see http://www.myswissalps.com/ju ngfrauregion and http://www.myswissalps.com/ju ngfrauregion/travel

You will want to travel from Lucerne to Interlaken (on your way to Grindelwald) on the first part of the Golden Pass Line (http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass).

From Interlaken to Geneva continue of the Golden Pass Line via Zweisimmen to Montreux for the best scenic route.

Use the Swiss Train Timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable) to plan your travel. If you haven’t used it before it will pay to read the instructions on that page before delving into the timetable. Use the SBB timetable on the right of the page.

To assist us in providing the best advice it helps to know when you are travelling.

    Happy travels.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Could you please also confirm all travel plan you mentioned above will be covered under Swiss Pass (except Zurich to Lucerne) ?

And we are planning to visit Swiss during 18-21 July.

    Hi Shailesh,

The Swiss Travel Pass covers everything you note except from Grindelwald to Jungfraujoch (25% off this ticket). See the coverage area of the Swiss Travel Pass here.
