4 nights Switzerland in June – planning help

    Hello all,

    my wife and I are flying into Zürich on Friday 6/15 and plan to spend the afternoon evening exploring the city.

    Any recommendations to see?

    6/16- We plan to head to Lucerne and make this our Base until 6/19.

    6/16- Lucerne boat cruise/ Mt. Rigi

    6/17- Day trip to Interlaken/Lauterbrunnen. Looking for recommendations. Mt tops, cable car.

    6/18- thinking Bern- open to any ideas.

    sorry for how vague this is. I am trying to get as many recommends possible.

    Also what train pass would be best?

    The best rail pass will be determined once you have finalized where you are going while you are here. Read through this page to help you choose the best rail pass.

    For 6/17 The 2 most popular mountains around Lauterbrunnen are Jungfraujoch and Schilthorn. If you buy the Swiss Travel Pass there is no extra cost to go to Schilthorn.

    6/18 – Bern is a lovely city if you are looking for a city excursion. If you have other interests let us know. Lake Thun boat cruises are also very popular.
