Can”t make seat reservations Wengen-Interlaken

    Hi,

    I was trying to reserve seats from Wengen to Interlaken but it says Seat Reservation not possible.

    Link I used as below –

    http://www.sbb.ch/ticketshop/ b2c/remoSchritt_1_0.do

    I want to understand this message some due to seats are full or some trains/route do not offer reservations?

    How I can check that seat reservations are possible or not on any route.

    Ashish,

    You don’t have to reserve seats on Swiss trains, and it is not usual to do so. I don’t suppose you are a large group (12 or more).

    Hi Ashish! That’s correct. Seat reservations in Swiss trains are not common, and for quite some regional trains not even possible. Please refer to http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/reservations for more information. Routes for which reservations are possible are indicated by an “R” in the SBB timeable (http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable), routes for which reservations are obligatory with an “R” in a rectangle.
