Better to buy Swiss Travel Pass before arrival?

    Are there any advantages to buying the STP before leaving USA or just buy when we arrive?

    1. You get to use it immediately on arrival

    2. No queueing at a ticket shop.

    3. You have both an electronic and paper backup in the event you loose or damage it.

    4. You can show it on your phone (but always carry a paper copy just in case).

    Hello Cagey,

    Rockoyster has mentioned all the advantages, it definitely makes sense to buy the Swiss Travel Pass before arrival, however, it’s not mandatory.
