We’ll be in Lauterbrunnen for 2 nights and have about 2 1/2 days from 26-28 May. We’ll take one day, dependent on weather, to do a little hiking that’s available and visit Trummelbach Falls. Would there be any options nearby (within 1.5 hour drive) to see and hear the alpenhorn, concerts, outdoor markets, or something typical Swiss? We love the small towns/villages, and will be driving a car. (using ideas especially in case of bad, foggy weather like we had last time!)

Oh, this is just perfect! Thank you SO much – I never would have found this information myself. The alphorn concert will be perfect timing as we are heading to Fribourg on 28 May, so we can leave early to see the concert and make a stop in Broc & Gruyères. And if we have bad weather in the Lauterbrunnen Valley on the 27 May, we can have the market visit as a back-up plan!
