Austria Vorteilscard not applicable for Sparschien

Dear all,

I have purchased Austrian Vorteilscard family for 19 Euros. When I tried booking from Vienna to Switzerland, when I applied this card, the price is not changing. That particular train comes under Sparschiene category. This card is not applicable for Sparschiene tickets?

If so, any idea what is the cancellation policy?
