Hi Sidd, and welcome to the forum. Yes, the 12:01 to Interlaken has a restaurant on board. You don't have to book in advance, but you can if you want to: either at the railway station before boarding (although that's a bit late) or in advance through the phone number mentioned at the SBB
and the Elvetino
website (Elvetino is the company arranging for catering in Swiss trains). Reservation costs are CHF 5.00 per seat. In most cases, there's an à la carte menu including hot dishes too.
