hi,

We plan to use bernina express trip from lugano > tirano> chur , for day trip. Is it worth it ? Bernina express by bus 10am – 1pm, continue Tirano > Chur by train 2.25pm – 6.19pm . Is it too rush ?

Please advice.

Is it too rushed? No, it’s quite relaxed as long as you plan to stay overnight in Chur.

Hi,

My travelling date is 22/05/2020, when is the best time to book seat reservation for lugano to tirano (bus) & tirano to chur??

Now whole world is panic with this coronavirus.. We so worry should we continue the journey.. As we plan so ahead.

Hi,

You can make a reservation for the Bernina Express up to 6 months prior to your travel date. You can reserve your tickets (if you do not have a valid rail pass) and seats at http://www.myswissalps.com/berninaexpress/tickets.

If you are afraid of traveling you can wait. If you run out of time and all tickets get sold for the Bernina Express, the worst case you change your itinerary (there are so many beautiful places in Switzerland) or you travel via local trains on the same route.
