Hi,

We are planning for 3 day trip from Paris to Switzerland. Which pass would be the better option?

Our itenary is below

Day1:

Reach basel in the morning, then train to thun and boat trip from thun to interlaken then nearby sight seeing.

Day2:

luzern to jungfraugh

Day 3:

Any nearby places to visit? travel from basel to Paris.

We are planning from Paris to Basel via Bus, is swiss travel pass valid for bus travel? and while return planning via TGV, is pass valid for this one?

There is a lot to do in the Bernese Oberland region (Thun, Interlaken, Jungfraujoch etc).
We have a list here for you to read through and get some ideas of what you may like to do.

The Swiss Travel Pass will cover buses, boats, gondolas and trains within Switzerland only (most but not all). You can find a PDF map here of what is covered by the pass.

When traveling to France you will need to buy a ticket from the Swiss border town (Basel) to Paris.
