Bike-able routes & trails in Switzerland

I've done a good deal of trail time in Switzerland now I'm thinking of some bike touring. Looking at the routes map in Veloland.ch what strikes me is that there are many many trails I've walked that I know are perfectly doable on a bike that hey don't include. For example, from First to Bachalpsee is very doable. I've met people cycling on paths I wouldn't consider myself. What I'm wondering is if there is any specific prohibition of bikes on walking routes.
