Hi Ameen. The BLS website will help you out with timetables for both lakes. Tourist spots are Brienz, Brienzer Rothorn Bahn and the Giessbach falls at lake Brienz, and Beatenbucht, Beatenberg, Niederhorn and Thun at lake Thun.

hello Annika,
I have one doubt, i’m planning to go to Brienzer Rothorn via Brienz (boat), while coming back, i would like to go to Giessbach falls as well.
Giessbach falls is on the way from Brienz towards Interlaken Ost,
can i get down at Giessbach falls ?. if i get down at Giessbach falls and get on board again at Giessbach falls after few hours , is my ticket still valid ??
In paris, if you get out of the metro station, your ticket is not valid anymore, so how does it work in Swiss ??
regards
Ameen

Hi Ameen,
Tickets will remain valid even if you unboard during the trip.
