Getting to Dixence Dam from Geneva

    Hi

    I am planning to buy Swiss travel,pass.

    I tried to check SBB timetable to go from genev to Dixence, Le Chargeur to visit Grande Dixenc Dam, but no result was found on sbb.

    On the sbb validity map it shows that trip to Dixence is covered by Swiss travel pass.

    My qustion:

    is bus trip,covered and if so how to get it’s schedule from geneve to Dixence, Le Chargeur bus station.

    The damn is at high altitude, so the road is only open in summer, therefore the bus only runs from June – October. Pick a date in July on the CFF online timetable and it will return a result. Pick todays date in May and it won’t show any connections.

    The bus from Sion to Dixence recommences operation 23 June.
