Hi, I am traveling with my 8 year old from Zurich to Zermatt and back in 5 days. Can I buy my transfer ticket with swiss family card in Zurich airport?

In the following 3 days what is the best ticket to get around Zurich and it’s neighbouring towns or villages.

    Hi Aiden,

The Swiss Transfer Ticket can only be purchased online. If you order through the webshop of the Swiss Railways, you can print the ticket at home. They will send you an e-mail with the ticket attached, so it’s not available immediately after ordering, but if you order now you have plenty of time to obtain it.

For Zurich, a ZurichCard makes sense. Information and links can be found on our Zurich page.

    Have a great time!

Hi, Do I need to specify my return date when buying the transfer ticket online? can that be changed later?

I am planning to start on the 25th and return on 29 or 30th of same month.

    Thanks,

    Hi Aiden,

    No, that’s flexible, no problem.

    Hi,

    Hi,

I bought a transfer ticket online and went from Zurich airport to Zermatt.

Can i return to Zurich main station with same ticket or do i have to go to airport?

    Which stop is first?

    Hi Aiden,

You can travel to either station. You’ll reach the main station first (see the timetable for details). Have a good trip!
