hi,

i am reaching Geneva from Paris by TGV Lyria train. Would like to go around Geneva for about 4 hours before proceeding to Interlaken.

will there be cloak room at Geneva station to keep my luggage. If it is available then what would be the chare.

secondly the train station for TGv Lyria from Paris and the train for going to Interlaken by Swiss Travel Pass will it be same or different. If different then where should we keep the luggage at which station?

thanks

Hi Saumya12

It is the same station ..."Cornavin" station.

Use of the timetable can give you that sort of information:

Luggage storage -

www.sbb.ch/en/station-services/am-bahnhof/railway-stations/bahnhof-finden.posid.1008.html

and

www.sbb.ch/en/station-services/am-bahnhof/railway-stations/bahnhof-finden.posid.1008.html

Left luggage in Swiss stations tends to run about 14 CHF per 24 hours or less, per piece (lasttime I used it a couple of years ago.)

Lockers come in various sizes and Geneva has been making some upgrades. Typically, the largest size is about 8CHF for 24 hours or less. It can hold more than one suitcase, depending on size of suitcase.

Into the main hall of the Geneva Railway station. Whit the ticket sales behind your back, it is on the right side on the first floor. In case of doubt, there is an information desk there, in the middle.

Price: It should be between CHF 6,- and 9,- depending on the luggage size.
