Is it possible to combine the Golden Pass, Glacier Express, and Bernina Express into a single train trip covering several days? How would you set up the route? Or is this impossible? Thanks for your help.

    Welcome rhduckett!

Sure, that’s possible. Here’s a detailed sample itinerary: myswissalps.com/plantr ip/doityourself/sample itineraries/ultimatesw issscenictrains. I would recommend to also spend a few days in a couple of towns along the way.

Thank you very much. I am also trying to plan itineraries for a Family/Intergenerational trip and a Arts/Culture/Urban trip, 4 to 6 days each. Any suggestions for where to start and end? These could be drives or a combination of drives and public transportation such as trains. Your help is much appreciated.

    Hi rhduckett,

We can surely provide some help there as well. It would be best to open up a new thread for each for these trips and provide more details: season or exact travel dates, ages of travelers, what exactly you intend to do, whether there are places in Switzerland you’ve visited before, how you’ll arrive and depart from Switzerland, etc. It helps to include a tentative itinerary; you’ll find useful tips on myswissalps.com/plantr ip/doityourself.
