    Hi,

I will be arriving from Dubai at Terminal 2C of Charles Du Gaulle Airport in France and then travel to Switzerland 3 days later. I am looking for a data sim card which can work in France and Switzerland for 12 days. Data sim from simlystore was a good option, but they do not deliver sim to Dubai.

I found that Orange Holiday sim card is a better option if I could buy it from the Paris Airport. Are there any outlets in terminal 2C of Charles De Gaulle Airport so that I can buy it on arrival. Any Experience with the coverage of Orange Holiday sim card in Switzerland?

    Regards,

    Shajid

    Hi Shajid

Planning can be half the trip!

I believe that Simly is the best option and also delivers to Dubai (UAE). I’ve just crosschecked it.

Use the following link and then the simly link at the bottom in the section “where to buy”. This should work. http://www.myswissalps.com/si mcard

    Best

    Hi Shajid,

Thanks for letting us know. That’s weird as the United Arab Emirates are in the drop-down box with shipping countries on their website. I’ll check with them.

I have no information on SIMs for Fr.

For the best value data SIM in CH you can’t go past shop.salt.ch/en/plans/ prepay/

The actual offer may be hidden behind a 50% discount pop up which you have to dismiss to see the real deal. Hit the “X” at top right hand corner of the pop up.

It is not officially endorsed by MySwissAlps but I used this SIM when I visited last year and found it great value. We have reports of another member sending weather reports to the forum from the top of Schilthorn using that SIM.

CHF10 gets you 10 days unlimited high-speed data (assuming you use it only for data and not calls as well). Beat that for value.

Make sure your phone is not locked to your home provider. If it is then the Traveller's WiFi is the go.

Last year, I used a “3” All Europe SIM and it worked like a charm.

A “one month” SIM that is just that. Can’t be renewed..

    Maybe an option?
