    Hi,

Can I know if I can drink from the Tap located in hotels? I will be in Geneva, Zermatt, Grindelward and Lucerne ?

Thanks in advance for the kind advice

    Hi Chubby Seb,

The tap water is perfectly fine all over Switzerland. We even recommend this over bottled water because it’s cheaper and more eco-friendly:

A general tip is to open the (hot) tap for a minute before drinking it, when you first enter your room. You never know when it was used for the last time, so this flushes out any bacteria. But this applies anywhere, even in your own home when you return after your holidays 🙂
