Enough time for connection at Tenero station?

    All of the public transportation routes between Lugano and the Valle Verzasca feature a quick change from train to bus at Tenero station. I am talking about 3 or 4 minutes between train arrival and bus departure. We won’t have any luggage. Will 3 minutes be enough time to make the connection, as we have no familiarity with the station? Does the bus wait if the arriving train happens to be late, or are the routes completely independent of each other? They do seem to be coordinated, but trying to avoid a long wait at the station waiting for the next bus (it would be a 2hr15min wait for the time I’m looking at). Thank you!

    Hi Elana,

    We get this question a lot. Don’t worry the transfer time is sufficient. Tenero station is fairly small and the bus terminal is directly accessible from the station. Just follow the signage.
