    Hi!

I have a Euro Global rail pass. I have made certain reservations including “Paris” to “Interlaken”.

The problem is that it has a stopover in Basel SBB, and the ticket shows as follows:

    Paris Gare De Lyon 8:23am – Train 9207 – Basel SBB 11:26am

    Basel SBB 11:31 – Train 1071 – to Interlaken 13:28

The time between 11:26am to 11:31 is just 5 minutes. Will this be sufficient to change trains? How big is the Basel SBB? Is there a Basel SBB station platform map available to atleast know how to get from Train 9207 to 1071 in advance now?

Or will it be the same track and train and no getting on/off will be required?

If the time is insufficient, what to do now? Can we make any changes? And how? What to do!

Hello alirazafazal. The train from Paris enters at platform 8, and the train to Interlaken leaves from platform 7. You can check such details using the Swiss timetable. The network map to be dowloaded from the SBB shows how the platforms are situated. So yes, 5 minutes should be enough. If you do miss your train, just ask help from a railway official. Depending on where you arranged your seat reservations from, you can also contact that reseller and see if you can change your reservations to a later train from Basel to Interlaken. But again, I don’t think this is necessary; under normal circumstances this is a doable change of trains.
