    Hi,

My girlfriend and I purchased the Half Fare Travel Card in sbb website (at chf 120.00 each) However, after we finished, we noticed that we missed a part of her name. Her first name is Mary Ann (name appearing on her passport) but on the half fare travel card we purchased, it was only Mary. Is that alright or will we encounter any problem? If there is problem, what can we do to correct it? Also, we already want to book our tickets online now and we are not sure if we will use Mary or Mary Ann on her first name.

    Thank you!!!!

Hello MatMat and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

I don’t think that will be a problem. I think I would make the name on the tickets match the name on the Swiss Half-fare Card.

You might want to check out the SBB mobile app. See http://www.myswissalps.com/forum/topic/checking-train-timetables.

    Hi Matmat,

I think it won’t be a problem if all of the other data are correct, but to make sure I recommend to ask the company you purchased from whether they think a change is needed and how this can be done.
